📜 Course Description#

  • This course is an introduction to AI-generated art using text prompt-based models.

  • We will explore how to use different types of models, how to interpret the results, and how to critique the output.

  • In addition, we will discuss the ethical implications of AI-generated art.

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • Understand the basics of AI-generated art

  • Generate their own AI-generated art

  • Critique AI-generated art

  • Understand the ethical implications of AI-generated art

🧠 Term Project#

For the term project, students will create their own AI-generated art piece using a text prompt-based model. Students will be required to submit their project proposal, code, and results.

Project Proposal#

The project proposal should include the following:

  • A description of the project

  • The text prompt that will be used

  • The type of model that will be used

  • The training data that will be used

  • The evaluation metric that will be used

  • The expected results
